Bebe Beard works as a night cook in a roadside grill on mile 56 of the Dalton Highway. During the day she forages for greens. Dan Osterman works as the lodging chamber-person. On his off hours he explores the landscape by foot and with paint. They wear 100% deet and the bear bells.

What a fantastic day of travel. We arrived at our destination today around 1pm or so- Alaska time, actually probably 6pm, Boston time. Yukon River Camp- which is behind us this view. More of that in next post.
