Some shots of Coldfoot Camp. The Cafe and the Inn. The Inn here is a bunch of prefabs hooked together. We were sent up to Coldfoot at the base of the Brooks Range to give a hand for the start of the season cleaning rooms. Nice bunch of 15 or so kids from all over the country make up the crew, from cooking to cash register.

Shot of the Cafe. Some days the parking lot is full of trucks, coming off the highway. Alot of dust everywhere. Buffet excellent.

Below, what subsistence living looks like above the Arctic Circle. A fellow named Jack in Wiseman, pop. 13 year-round, lots of hunters in season. Jack staked his claim before the state regulated everything in the 70's. That was B.O. - Before Oil.
